I worked briefly with Carl whilst I was a junior doctor at the Royal Derby Hospital. Whenever I asked him for help he was amazing....he always went out of his way to teach juniors and went out of his way in helping me complete my mandatory assessments. He was such a diligent and caring doctor and you don’t meet many people who leave such a lasting impression. I was so incredibly sad to hear of his passing. I wish to pass on my sincere condolences to his family...I hope you all find some peace in knowing he was such an inspiration to everyone who met him.
